I’m Kara Kroeger, and I spend my life chasing what truly nourishes us — from the soil to the plate, from our cells to our spirits. I love creating incredible food, getting my hands dirty in ceramics, swimming in spring-fed pools, practicing yoga, and regularly exploring the vibrant rhythm of life in Mexico — where I savor the food, dance, and craft around me.

My journey into health started young. Losing my father at 16 to complications from Agent Orange opened my eyes to how complex creating health can be in the world we live in. That understanding drives everything I do today. Over 25 years, I’ve immersed myself in studying how our bodies, the planet, and the animals around us are all connected. My degree in agriculture, with a focus on regenerative grazing management, gave me a deep understanding of food systems — knowledge I draw on every day as a nutrition consultant.

I’ve worked in multiple functional medicine practices and, as a private chef and caterer, helping people learn to enjoy whole foods and untangle complex health issues. I continue to grow as I pursue my Master’s in Clinical Nutrition. I’m also a trained western herbalist, passionate about the ways food, plants, and lifestyle come together to rebuild health. Every day, I’m inspired by the bounty of nature and its ability to heal, and I feel lucky to guide others toward clarity, strength, and balance — with curiosity, compassion, and a little fire in the mix.
