Guiding you to thrive in a world full of complexity, one meal, one habit, one choice at a time.
I’m Kara Kroeger, and I spend my life chasing what truly nourishes us — from the soil to the plate, from our cells to our spirits. I love teaching and facilitating healing as a clinician, creating incredible food as a chef, getting my hands dirty in soil and ceramics, swimming in spring-fed pools, practicing yoga, and regularly exploring the vibrant rhythm of life in Mexico — where I savor the food, dance, and craft around me.
My journey into a healthcare career began early. Losing my father at 16 due to complications from Agent Orange opened my eyes to how complex maintaining health can be in a world that values convenience and profit. That understanding guides everything I do today. Over the past 25 years, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding how the natural systems of our bodies, plants, animals, and the planet are interconnected—and how that connection can be used to support healing.
As a Certified Nutritionist & Herbalist with over 25 years of clinical experience, and a B.S. in agriculture focused on regenerative farming and grazing management, I bring a deep understanding of how agricultural systems impact soil health, our food supply, and public health. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Nutrition and have worked in private practice, functional medicine clinics, as a private chef and caterer, and as an agroecology educator, helping people grow, cook, and enjoy whole foods while addressing complex health challenges.
I’m passionate about how people, food, and lifestyle factors can come together in unison to promote health. Every day, I am inspired by nature’s abundance and its power to heal, and I feel fortunate to help others find clarity, strength, and balance — with curiosity, compassion, and a little fire in the mix.
